Our approach

Taproot Executive Search was founded on the simple belief: the strongest organizations are built from the ground up, rooted in the right people.

After years of working closely with the most exclusive private equity firms, credit funds, hedge funds, real estate firms, alternative asset managers, family offices, consulting firms and also many non-financial services companies, I saw firsthand how critical, and how difficult, it is to find talent that truly fits. Not just on paper, but culturally, strategically, and long-term. Too often, recruiting felt transactional. I wanted to build something different.

Taproot is intentionally boutique. I work hands-on with every client and candidate, taking the time to deeply understand the business, the role, and the hiring manager as well as the human being behind the resume. My approach is consultative, transparent, and relationship-driven, focused on building enduring teams, not just filling seats.

What we do

We specialize in identifying and placing high-impact professionals across Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Middle Office/Operations, Tax, Human Resources/Human Capital and Administration roles, partnering with clients as an extension of their team.

You’ll work directly with a Partner at Taproot for every search. The goal is always the same: thoughtful, well-aligned placements that help firms grow stronger over time.
